Alimosho LG extends working hour from 8am to 8pm
At the ongoing 2019 Budget retreat of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and his team had agreed on implementation of the approved revenue bye laws. The team had concluded that there is a need to extend the working hours for revenue collectors to accommodate businesses that operate after normal working hours. Revenue officers will now be able to work from 8am to 8pm.
In order to ensure effective monitoring and accommodation of late hour businesses to contribute their quota to the development of Alimosho Local Government; the local government had allocated 5 persons per area. This is to inform the public that the revenue collectors will be in uniform and official vehicles with appropriate security officers.
The people of Alimosho are hereby called to corporate with the revenue officers for the continuation of infrastructural and developmental strive in Alimosho.
It will be recall that the 2018 Budget retreat was tagged “human and infrastructural development”. The people of Alimosho can attest to the fact that Alimosho has improved tremendously in the area of infrastructural development over the past 365 days. There is no gainsaying that the revenue generated does not commensurate with the developmental plan of Alimosho local Government.
Alimosho Local Government hereby appeal to her people to support this government by paying their rates as at when due. This will enable us to build more schools, primary health center, roads among others. In the year 2018, not less than 20 roads were rehabilitated, Ogo Oluwa street construction has commenced and it is almost completed. A modern one storey building primary health center is at its completion state as well as a modern one storey building primary school is ongoing at Abati primary school among others. The administration is set to do more if only the people to pay their rates for us to move Alimosho to the next level.
