CSR

The Corporate Social Responsibility office is saddled with the responsibility of relating with corporate organizations on their social responsibility to the community. Alimosho Corporate Social Responsibility was created by the Executive Chairman of Alimosho, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon in the year 2017 as he assumed office. The creation of the office is expected to boost the relationship between the government and corporate organization within and outside the local government.

The office has achieved several projects since inception. One of such projects is the Alimosho Chairman’s Cup. The competition garnered sponsorship from several organization within and outside the Local Government.

The office also organizes Fashion Competition in partnership with Vicvitej Fashions. The office relates with Rotaract in distribution of bags and exercise books to primary school students in Alimosho.

 

 

 

 

Profile of SA CSR

Hon. Remilekun Adeseluka is the SA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He is a graduate of University of Lagos where he bagged his B.Sc in Economics. A student member of the Chartered institute of Economics.

Hon. Remilekun has served in several capacity before his appointment as the SA Corporate Social Responsibility. He worked as Administrative manager at AM Osomo & Co; he served in the same capacity with Estaport Building Society. Hon. Remilekun work with Ionex Construction Company as Production manager.

Politically, Hon. Remilekun has served in various leadership capacity. This includes Zonal chairman and Secretary of APC Ward B, Alimosho Local Government. He served as ward B YAYI Campaign team secretary. He is currently the Deputy Youth Leader of Ward B in Alimosho Local Government.

CPS Office

The Chief Press Secretary Office is saddled with the task of managing the information of the Executive Chairman. The office since inaugurated in 2017 has achieved prompt dissemination of the Local Government information.

Part of the achievement of the office is the creation and management of the official social media page for the local government namely facebook: alimoshogovt; twitter: @alimoshogovt; instagram: alimoshogovt among others.

The department also achieve the building and managing Alimosho Local Government official website. The website is www.alimosho.lg.gov.ng

 

The department is headed by Mr. Ayinde Jamiu Kunle

 

About the Office Head

Ayinde Jamiu Kunle is a young chap poised with passion for excellence. He attended Lagos State University, where he bagged his first degree in Philosophy. His second degree was obtained in Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Ayinde Jamiu Kunle is a seasoned information communication technologies. As a software developer, he worked with Royal Coast technologies as a web developer. In 2017, he was part of team Smart Transit that won the United Nation Hackaton. He is married.

PPP

The Public Private Partnerships Unit was established in 2017 by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jelili  Sulaimon to herald new developments and corporate partnerships within Alimosho Local Government.

The areas of collaboration cut across all sector ranging from construction, education, health, empowerment and internal collaboration.

Recently, Alimosho Local Government made history being the first local government in Nigeria to partner the United Nations on International Day of the Girl Child Campaign. The campaign which equally received support from corporate organisations was a success thereby becoming a vocal point for government and non-governmental organisations.

The Oja Irorun is one the administration’s success stories. The market was a fulfilment of Hon. Jelili Campaign promises to connect local farmers to the city in order to force food stuff prices down within the local government Area. Various food items like, yam flour, garri, yam, palm oil, vegetable oil, pepper, tomatoes, goat-meat, etc are being sold within the market.

Meanwhile, there are focus on developing partnership in the education and the health sector in order to improve on the lives of our people in Alimosho local government.

The Unit is headed by Yusu Oladimeji.

 

About the Head

Yusuf Oladimeji David is the special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Public Private Partnerships. He is a graduate of Mass Communication with professional Diploma in Public Relations. He has attended several local and international leadership trainings.

He also worked in the private sector before he joined the administration in 2017. In 2009, he joined BHS International Limited; concessionaires of Tafawa Balewa Square as Branding and Marketing Communication Executive, and floated Platinum – Ark properties in 2014, a company with interest in sale, leasing and property development.

Duties and Responsibility of Finance Department

  • Serves as the Administrative Head of the Finance and Accounts Department and must be a qualified Accountant
  • Serves as the Chief Financial Adviser to the Local Government
  • Supervision of the accounts of all departments, to ensure conformity with financial memoranda and other regulations.
  • Prepares and publishes monthly and annual financial statements of the Local Government/Local Council Cheque and other financial documents.
