Hon Jelili inspects ongoing rehabilitation of roads in Alimosho

 

The Executive Chairman of Alimosho, Hon. Sulaimon Jelili inspects the ongoing construction of roads in Alimosho. The zero tolerance to potholes project is expected to wipe off potholes in Alimosho Local Government.

Hon. Jelili Sulaimon while addressing the people of Church Street today said “the road is constructed by our rate payment fee. Let us desist from anything that will put shorten the lifespan of our road. Let us join hands to stop mechanics from repairing cars on our road, no burning of tyre on the road”.

The people of Church Street appreciates the efforts of the Executive chairman for the past one year in office. Mr. Olajumobi said “the chairman is really performing wonders. He is constructing school, hospital, admin block and yet he is still building roads. May God continue to guide him and make him go higher”.

The road rehabilitation is expected to cover about 20 roads in Alimosho Local Government. This remain a major strides in reducing traffic and making life easy for the people of Alimosho.

Alimosho Mayor visits new Shasha Base Air Commander

 

The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Jelili paid a courtesy visits to Air Commandore M. A. Sulaimon. The visit was to foster better relationship between the Air force Base and Alimosho Local Government.

During the visit, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon welcomes Air Commandore M. A. Sulaimon to the most populous local government in Lagos and Nigeria. On the area of security, he seeks for the support of the Air Force Base to strengthen security in Alimosho local government noting that election period is fast approaching and there is need for better security to be in place.

Hon. Jelili Sulaimon further address the issue of non-compliance to local government rates payment by people in the vicinity of Shasha Air Force Base. He said “payment of local government rates is in its low ebb from the vicinity of Shasha Air Force Base. Many bikes playing the Air Force Area don’t pay rates to the local government. We need an improvement in that area to be able to provide more social amenities for the people”.

In response to Hon. Jelili Sualimon, Air Commandore M. A. Sulaimon said on the issue of security, he will work on ensuring better security in Alimosho Local Government. Air Commandore Sulaimon further said, he will require to meet with community stakeholders in Shasha Base vicinity to address the issue of local government rates.

The new Air Commander appreciates the visit of the Local Government Chairman and his team which includes, the vice chairman, Hon. Francis Adebisi, the Leader of the House, Hon. Ahmed Obadina , Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Dare Ogunkoya, the Council Manager and a host of others.

Alimosho LG congratulates President Buhari as ECOWAS Chairman

 

The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Jelili has congratulates Nigeria President on his emergence as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)

Hon. Sulaimon Jelili in his congratulatory message said “We have no doubt that his emergence will bring about positive change to West African Economy. Mr. President emergence rekindle our believe in him and reassure us that other countries have identified with Nigeria the true leadership in President Buhari”.

President Buhari emerged as ECOWAS chairman on Tuesday at the end of the commission’s meeting in Togo to replace Togolese President, Faure Gnassigbe.

The leadership of Alimosho Local Government led by Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has clocked 365 Days. The people and workers are celebrating one year of un-relented developmental effort in Alimosho Local Government. Alimosho LG to rehabilitates 20 roads (see list)

 

The administration of Hon. Sulaimon Jelili has launched zero tolerance to potholes in Alimosho. The idea is to ensure that all roads in Alimosho are in good plying condition. Link roads in the Local Government has been pen down for rehabilitation.

The government has begin rehabilitation of about twenty roads in Alimosho. The roads include Oyinlola Street, Ponle Street, Miccom, Odebunmi Street, Fajumobi Street, Shasha Road, Jayeoba Road, Oguntada road, coker road, Bassey Street, Ogunlana Street, Destiny Street, Folarin Street, Cash Street, Samuel Street, Church Street, Ganiu Animashaun Street, Olufemi Adebanjo Street, Akinwowo Street and Santos Phase 1.

This is a response from the Executive Chairman, Alimosho Local Government to the people’s call on the roads condition in Alimosho. The Chairman replied by moving out will full force to ensure that all roads in Alimosho will be put in good condition.

This effort will ease the traffic within Alimosho and ensure all motor users spend less on repair.
